Elliott Group is undertaking an ambitious project at Uxbridge Road, Slough, focusing on the remediation of a brownfield site and the construction of state-of-the-art facilities. This development will replace the existing Polygon House, Murdoch House, and five ancillary stores/workshop buildings with new, modern structures.

The project includes the construction of a new two-story office building, approximately 25,000 square feet in size, designed to provide a contemporary and efficient workspace. Additionally, a separate single-story plus mezzanine building, covering about 12,000 square feet, will house workshops and stores, offering ample space for various operational needs.

To enhance both functionality and aesthetics of the site, the project encompasses 17,000 square meters of hard surfacing along with areas of soft landscaping. To facilitate this new construction, the existing two/three-story buildings known as Polygon House and Murdoch House, along with five ancillary stores/workshops, will be demolished. Additionally, the two-story Brunel House will be demolished to complete the ground remediation and external works in that area.

Extensive ground remediation is a key component of this project, ensuring the site is prepared to support the new constructions and meet environmental standards. The project aims to achieve a BREEAM rating of EXCELLENT for both the office building and the store/workshop building, reflecting a commitment to sustainability and high environmental performance standards.
