Elliott Group is proud to lead the transformative redevelopment project at Cedral St Conleth’s Park for Kildare GAA. This ambitious project includes the complete demolition of the existing stand and dressing room block, paving the way for the construction of a new entrance plaza, new turnstiles, and a state-of-the-art 3,000-seat stand.

The new stand will house modern dressing rooms, officials’ changing rooms, a Club Kildare Lounge, and multi-purpose rooms, ensuring top-notch facilities for players, officials, and visitors.A significant part of this redevelopment involves the demolition of the existing covered stand building, clubhouse, scoreboard, and a section of the front boundary wall and turnstiles. In their place, a new two-story covered stand building will be constructed. This building will include spectator seating, players’ and officials’ changing areas, spectators’ concourses, circulation areas, toilet facilities, first-aid and administrative offices, multi-purpose rooms, VIP/meeting areas, hospitality and bar serving facilities, confectionery/snack-bar facilities, stores, a plant room, and associated ancillary areas.

The playing pitch will also undergo significant improvements. It will be extended to meet Croke Park standards, with the installation of a new drainage system and flood lighting to enhance playability and visibility. Additionally, the project includes modifications to external hard and soft landscaping, ensuring a visually appealing and functional environment.The main entrance will be altered, and a new entrance plaza will be created, incorporating a ticket office and turnstiles.

The playing pitch will see the replacement of some of the existing pitch enclosures and ball netting, as well as an increase in the dimensions of the playing field. A new scoreboard and flood lighting system will be installed to enhance the overall experience for players and spectators alike.
