Elliott Group formed a joint venture with Moritz Holdings Ltd and the JV entered the competition for the first PPP housing project in Ireland.
Dublin City Council awarded the project to the partnership in February 2004, and the contract was signed in June 2004.
Phase 1 of the project features –
- 110 social apartments and houses
Phase 2 of the project features –
- 70 affordable apartments, 40 social apartments, 395 private apartments
- Sports and Leisure Centre, 2000 m² of community facilities including swimming pool, arts centre, and play parks
- Incorporation into the Luas Light Rail system
The project is the first of its kind in Dublin City urban regeneration and will transform this part of the city. It also marks a milestone achievement by Elliott Group in winning the country’s first ever housing PPP project. It displays Elliott Group’s ability to compete successfully for major urban projects and success-fully deliver on all fronts from concept to completion. The scheme includes a 2,000 m2 community centre with dance studios and performance spaces.
