The project involved the design and construction of a new build, 5-storey, 149-bedroom hotel with associated great room and meeting rooms together with 185 carpark spaces on a greenfield site of almost 1 hectare.

The works included the construction of associated car parking, as well as an underground adaptable pumping station by Thames Water. The project was designed with a precast frame, bathroom PODS and all finishes are in strict accordance with the Generation 4 HIEX brand standards.

I highly recommend the use of Elliott Group as a Main Contractor for any new build construction schemes between £5m and £30m. To date they have worked very well onsite and are well ahead of programme even with issues such as COVID-19 to deal with. All documentation required has been issued on time and all variations have been fair and reasonable. Any issues that have arisen have been brought to the client’s attention immediately and resolved as a team.
